5^th Grade Weekly Update

Dear Parents,

We’ve moved beyond the middle of November. The first of two winter breaks, the upcoming winter solstice, and a brand new year will be upon us before we know it.

What we learned This week

Math: Topic 6 – Variables and Algebraic Expressions

Literacy: Interpretive Essays, Defending Big Ideas, Building an Argument and Writing a Speech.

English: Action Verbs

Science: Chapter 6: Earth’s Changing Surface.

Social Studies: Ch. 3 Wrap Up and Test.
